Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs

Ingredients: 1 cup water  1 cup ketchup  1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste  3/4 cup brown sugar  1/2 cup vinegar  2 tablespoons prepared mustard  1 tablespoon salt  2 pounds beef back ribs Directions: 1-Mix water, ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, and salt in a slow cooker, stirring to dissolve brown sugar and salt. 2-Place short ribs into the sauce and stir to coat. Set cooker on Low, cover, and cook for 8 hours.

Cajun Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients : 12 raw shrimps (as many as you’d like, I like having a lot in my pasta) 1 serving of pasta (preferably a linguine) 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbs. butter 1/2 c. heavy cream shredded parmesan cheese 1/8 tsp. basil salt and pepper to taste flour (to thicken) cajun seasoning 1/4 c. parsley White wine (not shown) olive oil (not shown) Directions : Heat a saucepan on medium-high heat. Add the butter, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of white wine and bring to a boil. Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the shrimps. Next, season the shrimps with the Cajun seasoning., be generous (to your liking)! When the shrimps are pink on one side, flip them and cook for another minute and remove them from the pan, leaving the liquid. Add the heavy cream, basil, parsley, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and whisk in sprinkles of flour until sauce thickens. Lower heat to medium-low and add shrimp again. T

Ingredients: 6 large eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup cake flour or GF flour mix 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp vanilla 6 tablespoons butter melted 3 tablespoons strawberry jello powder 3 tablespoons strawberry jam Mix eggs and sugar and heat over a double boiler until very warm. Whisk with an electric mixer of some sort until thick and lemon colored. Gently fold in dry ingredients (flour, salt and strawberry jello powder). KICKIN FRIED CHICKEN

Ingredients : 8 pieces of chicken, your choice breast, thighs, legs, etc. 1 C. milk 2 T. pickle juice 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1 egg, beaten 2 C. flour 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. ground sage 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. oregano Directions : Combine milk, egg, Tabasco and pickle juice. Throw the chicken in with it and marinate for 1 hour in the fridge. Combine all remaining ingredients in another bowl for dredging. Now I used a deep fryer, but you can use an iron skillet and heat oil to 350 degrees. Dredge the chicken in the flour, back to the mixture it was marinating in and then back into the flour. Place on a cookie sheet and continue with the remaining pieces. Let sit for 5 minutes before frying. 2 Cups Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 Eggs 2 Cups Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 Cup Buttermilk How to make it Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour (or line with parchment) two 9" or three 6" round pans. Cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium until fluffy. Add vanilla, then add eggs one at a time, beating on low just until they are mixed in.  In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Starting with the flour mixture, add the flour and the buttermilk (alternating one then the other) into the sugar/egg mixture on low speed. When everything is mixed in, scrape down the bowl by hand. Easy Homemade Chocolate Turtle Cake

1 cup chocolate chips 2 cups pecans 3/4 cup melted butter 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1 (14 ounce) bags caramels 1 1/3 cups water ( or as called for by your cake mix) 1/3 cup oil ( or as called for by your cake mix) 3 eggs ( or as called for by your cake mix) 1 (18 ounce) boxes German chocolate cake mix Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour 1/2 of the batter in a 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool. In a double boiler, add carmels, milk and butter and stir constantly till melted. Pour melted carmel over cooling cake. Sprinkle on top 1 cup of pecans& chocolate chips. Pour remaining batter on top and bake for an additional 20 minutes. Enjoy!

 Ingredients: 1 cup flour 2 Tbsp onion powder 2 Tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp red pepper 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 4 thin pork chops 2 Tbsp bacon fat 2 Tbsp olive oil 2 cups buttermilk Chopped fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish, optional Directions: Mix together flour, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper, salt, and black pepper in a pie plate. Coat pork chops in flour mixture; shaking off the excess. Over medium heat in cast iron skillet, melt bacon fat and oil together well. Gently lay pork chops in skillet; fry about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove pork chops from skillet. Mix ½ cup flour mixture and buttermilk together well; pour into skillet, stir into hot fat; bring gravy to boil then reduce heat to simmer until nice and thick, stirring often.  Return pork chops to skillet; cover with gravy. Fritters 1 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/3 cup milk 1 egg 1 cup chopped apple Glaze: 2 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons milk Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon. Stir in milk and egg until just combined. Fold in apple. Pour oil into skillet so that it is approximately 1 1/2 deep. Heat oil on high. Oil is ready when a little dough thrown in floats to top. Carefully add dough to oil in heaping teaspoons. Cook until brown, about 2 minutes, then flip. Cook another 1-2 minutes, until both sides are browned. Transfer briefly to paper towels to absorb excess oil, then transfer to cooling rack. Make glaze by stirring milk and powdered sugar together in a small bowl. Drizzle over apple fritters. 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup cake flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 7 ounces (1¾ sticks) butter, softened, plus 1 tablespoon for greasing the loaf pan 3 ounces cream cheese, softened 1½ cups sugar 5 eggs 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, cream together the butter and cream cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the sugar and mix for 1 minute. Worcestershire sauce 1tbsp. oil 1 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion 2tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 cup beef broth 1/2tsp. salt How to make it : In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into thick patties. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties and onion in the oil until patties are nicely browned. Remove the beef patties to a plate, and keep warm. Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet. Stir in flour with a fork, scraping bits of beef off of the bottom as you stir. Gradually mix in the beef broth. Ingredients: 1 Chuck Roast 1 Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix 1 Packet McCormick Au Jus mix 5 whole pepperoncini peppers 1 stick butter Preparation: 1- Buy a chuck roast. 2-Put it in the crock pot. 3-Sprinkle Hidden Valley ranch dressing on top. 4-Sprinkle McCormick Au Jus mix on top. Put a stick of butter on top. Put about 5 pepperoncini peppers on top. (You buy them in a jar.). Do NOT add water.. Cook in crock pot on low for about 8 hours.! Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup

1 tablespoon melted butter 1/2 medium chopped onion 1/4 cup melted butter 1/4 cup flour 2 cups half-and-half cream 2 cups chicken stock 1/2 lb fresh broccoli 1 cup carrot, julienned 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 8 ounces grated sharp cheddar cheese salt and pepper Sauté onion in butter. Set aside. Cook melted butter and flour using a whisk over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Stir constantly and add the half & half. Add the chicken stock. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add the broccoli, carrots and onions. Cook over low heat 20-25 minutes. dd salt and pepper. Can be puréed in a blender but I don't. Return to heat and add cheese. Stir in nutmeg.

1 cup white sugar 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups water 2 lemons, juiced and zested 2 tablespoons butter 4 egg yolks, beaten 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked 4 egg whites 6 tablespoons white sugar How to make it : Preheat oven to 350 degrees To Make Lemon Filling: In a medium saucepan, whisk together 1 cup sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Stir in water, lemon juice and lemon zest. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Stir in butter. Place egg yolks in a small bowl and gradually whisk in 1/2 cup of hot sugar mixture. Whisk egg yolk mixture back into remaining sugar mixture. Ingredients: 1 lb. raw shrimp, cleaned, peeled and deveined 8 Tbs. butter (1 stick), melted 3 cloves garlic, minced (my addition) 1 packet of Good Seasons Italian all natural seasoning 1 1/2 lemon, sliced into circles 1 Tbs. dried parsley leaves 1 tsp. black pepper, ground Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, and pour into a 9×111 inch glass casserole dish, spreading it all over the bottom of the dish. Arrange the lemon slices on top of butter, forming a single layer. Arrange the cleaned and deveined shrimp on top of the lemon slices. Sprinkle the Italian Seasoning over the shrimp. Sprinkle the parsley flakes and pepper on top of that. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

1 large can of sliced peaches, drained 1 cup Bisquick mix 1 cup of milk 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup butter, melted 1 cup of sugar vanilla Ice Cream, optional In an 8 x 8 baking dish, stir Bisquick mix, milk, nutmeg and cinnamon together until thoroughly mixed. Stir in melted butter. In a medium mixing bowl, stir sugar and peaches. Spoon peaches over the cobbler crust. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour or until crust is a golden brown. 4 cups all-purpose flour 3 cups sugar 2 cups butter, softened ¾ cup milk 6 large eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla Directions  1. Layer Ingredients and Mix. Preheat oven to 325°. Place flour, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla (in that order) in 4-qt. bowl of a heavy-duty electric stand mixer. Beat at low speed 1 minute, stopping to scrape down sides. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. 2. Pour and Bake. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch (16-cup) tube pan, and smooth. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a long wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack, and cool completely (about 1 hour).

4 boneless chicken breast, cooked and chopped/shredded 1/2 C. onion, chopped 1/2 C. celery, chopped Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1/2 C. to 1 C. dried cranberries Dressing: 1 C. mayonnaise 1/2 C. sugar 1/4 C. vinegar 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. salt to taste 1/4 tsp. pepper Combine cooked chicken, onion and celery, salt and pepper. Mix all dressing ingredients together and pour over chicken. Add the dried cranberries (add right before serving or the chicken salad will turn pink). Serve with crackers or on lettuce.
